Job Purpose
Providing an excellent administration service to the Group Academic Services Department
The Office of Regulation and Compliance is responsible for the day-to-day administration of regulatory and compliance matters relating to University students, and the role as the team’s Administrative Officer will be to primarily support them in doing so.
What you’ll be doing
- Daily management of a shared mailbox and answering queries from students and staff in the relevant business units regarding regulatory and compliance matters.
- Management of effective data collection and reporting procedures.
- Providing statistics and information to relevant business units.
- Supporting the Office of Regulation and Compliance staff with other administrative tasks when required.

Candidate criteria
Candidate Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent levels of IT literacy and confidence in using software including Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Sensitivity to difficult and challenging circumstances including maintaining confidentiality.
- Previous experience of working in a higher education setting.
