Are you an experienced Buying Manager looking for an exciting new challenge?
We have an opportunity for a Buying Manager to join Asda during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
You will be tasked to utilise your commercial skills across a diverse product portfolio, managing customer focused propositions that are fit for purpose in our business.
This role represents a fantastic opportunity to broaden your skill set and gain exposure across the business, playing a key part in developing Asda's proposition in these critical growth channels.
Your Role
You will work closely with other buyers and partner stakeholders internally and externally to represent the needs of the function.
You will be ensuring alignment to land an integrated, best in class customer offer and deliver the P&L.
You will be accountable for establishing viable permanent and seasonal range propositions that are fit for purpose
You will work collaboratively with key suppliers, our wholesale partners and internal stakeholders to deliver ranges, sales and profit.
About You
- You will have previous experience working as a Buyer with a thorough understanding of all aspects of the trading P&L including management of promotional funding.
- You will be customer-obsessed and energised by change.
- You will be a self-starter, able to think outside the box and comfortable working in the grey to explore solutions for new business challenges.
- You will be used to working at pace and thrive in a busy trading environment.
