full, time, part-time and relief hours
£20,812 to £21,575 FTE plus enhancements

We have an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Care Assistant.
This residential home offers accommodation to 81 clients. The home is situated near the town centre of Christchurch. We work in a person-centred way providing support for people living with complex care needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients with personal care, nutrition and hydration.
- Complying with Health and Safety requirements in respect of moving and assisting and the use of equipment.
- Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect for our clients.
- The ability to work flexibly across shifts including days, evenings and alternate weekends.
The successful candidate should have:
- The ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Empathy with the needs of the clients.
- IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- NVQ Level 2 in Direct Care or willingness to achieve this.
