BorgWarner’s Fuel Systems and Aftermarket business (“PHINIA”) is intended to separate from BorgWarner in late 2023
PHINIA will be a product leader in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution with balanced and synergistic exposure among Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket end markets, with embedded relationships with global OEMs and a focus on the global vehicle parc.
As well as being an industry leader in combustion technologies and chassis systems PHINIA will also be driving the transition to green fuels and hydrogen combustion by developing effective solutions to decarbonize the future of transportation.
The holder of the position will be a professional automotive parts cataloguer with aftermarket experience responsible of cross references, mapping to TecDoc standards, and all associated product information is accurate and complete within the electronic catalogue. This is a full-time, hybrid position with 1 to 2 days per week in-office and the remainder work from home.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for coordination, implementation, and execution of aftermarket automotive parts electronic catalogue data requirements for assigned product line starters and alternators.
- Establish & maintain accurate part information compliant with industry standards
- Establish & maintain accurate application information, adhering to industry standards and customer requirements.
- Analyze competitor product range to understand gaps, changes, and additions to the lines.
- Conduct OEM research and communicate coverage goals and opportunities to product line teams.
- Be responsive & proactive in managing customer requests and inquiries. Review and address customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Regular interface with category and product teams to ensure that catalogue/data work meets customer requirements.
- Lead with compliance to Internal Control requirements, Accounting/Financial legal requirements and perform successfully internal and external audits.

Safety and Health – Responsible for completing required safety training, reporting, and correcting any unsafe practices as appropriate, completing work activities in a safe manner, and complying with safety and health requirements for respective position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3 years + automotive aftermarket experience as a catalogue professional in Europe
- Background in vehicle parts knowledge, automotive part fitment, OEM, and competitive part evaluation
- Knowledge of starters & alternators
- Bachelor’s degree
Expected skills & competencies
- Strong analytical, organizational and research skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Access and/or other Database Management programs
- Must be able to plan & meet deadlines
- Proficient in English Language
- Curious, enquiring mind, understanding and appreciation of the commercial and strategic mix and interdependencies
- Commercial acumen and a passion to drive the strategic plans forward, able to analyze and produce reports and recommendations
- Builds trust with key stakeholders and understand the customer perspective
