POSITION SUMMARY: The Primary function of this position is to Certify eligibility of clients on Nevada/California Indian Reservations/Colony, assist Warehouseman with monthly food distribution, maintaining accurate records.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for secretarial filing and correspondence for the program.
• Assist in food distributions; maintain current distribution check list and accurate case files.
• Assist the Manager with inventory control, placing food orders and other duties as assigned.
• Supervise assistant certifier with certification duties.

· Assist the Assistant Certifier and provide direction with monthly inventory control, certification duties, record keeping.

· Assist the Director with inventory control, accuracy with cliental served monthly, and other duties as assigned.

· Review SNAP listing for client eligibility

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Must possess a valid Nevada driver’s license and maintain a good driving record and be insurable.
• Able to submit a copy of DMV driving record for last 3 years.
• Must be able to drive in all-weather conditions
• Must be able to work various work schedules
• Must be able to use basic office machines-calculator and typewriter.
• Must be a self-starter, motivated, and require little supervision to accomplish daily tasks.
• Secretarial, bookkeeping and data entry experience helpful.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50-pound boxes and travel to sites in Nevada and California (overnight).
• Must be computer literate with personal computers and laptop and tablets
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

· Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.94 - $15.37 per hour
