We want our customers to be able to contact us through a variety of different communication channels including telephone, email and social media. As a customer service advisor you will be the first point of contact for our customer’s water and waste water enquiries.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours
We will train you on everything you need to know about our services, but we’re looking for enthusiastic, positive individuals who are natural at providing an excellent customer experience.
  • You will need the ability to work in an organised, professional manner, providing high levels of customer service in all verbal and written communications.
  • You must be able to deliver strong communication skills and have the flexibility to work efficiently, both as part of a team, and individually.
  • You will be required to effectively and concisely answer customer queries with good spelling and word choice.
  • You must be able to react calmly, and be able to assess situations with both understanding and objectivity; showing patience and professionalism in any scenario.
  • You must be able to demonstrate empathy for the customer and be able take responsive action to resolve customer queries.
  • Alongside a great telephone manner and proficient IT skills, you will need to be comfortable using social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
  • Through accurately recording customer information, you will be required to demonstrate critical thinking skills, by checking relevant historical information, and using our systems to allocate resources.
  • Knowledge of the water market is essential. An understanding of how the water market works is imperative.
  • You must have previous experience using and understanding the Central Marketing Agency.
  • You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft dynamics.
Salary Range - £21,053 - £25,000 - Please note that this role is being offered as part-time and the salary will be adjusted to suit.
