Working hours of 7.5 hours per day between 8.00am and 4.30pm*
Salary: £10.72 per hour

Trewithen Dairy is proud to be 100% Cornish and has a BRC AA+ production facility with modern bright offices in the Cornish countryside 30 miles from Plymouth and Truro. We have ambitious growth plans, and our people are our key ingredient.
Our hero products are bottled fresh milk and Cornish clotted cream, as well as butter churned with Cornish cream and yoghurt made with Cornish milk. We operate a chilled delivery fleet servicing independent retailers and food service customers throughout the South West and beyond.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role helps the company accurately process Sales Orders received from customers on a daily basis. Duties include:

• Being a member of the Customer Service Team receiving and processing orders via phone, emails and EDI
• Order processing and data entry on computer systems – Order entry, booking in transport, confirming order differences. Each process is a standard way of working, where training will be provided for each task
• Receiving queries from customers and working with other departments to resolve any issues promptly
• Providing admin support to other departments, with routine admin tasks and providing information

THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who:

• Has an excellent phone manner
• Is comfortable with numbers and good computer skills are required, with good experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Is calm under time pressure and able to think on their feet to help resolve issues
• Has the ability to build relationships – with customers and work colleagues
• Has a natural inquisitive approach, to continually learn different aspects of the business and how it works.
• Has a can do approach to working, with the desire to resolve issues promptly
