Job description

The role of the Data Administrator post will be to support the CRF in the data entry and data management of academic and commercial clinical trials. The post holder will be asked to provide support to particular studies across all therapeutic areas as and will be based across both CRF sites according to the needs and requirements of the busy and dynamic study portfolio.

The post holder will be required to work closely with other members of the teams, including managers, administrators, nursing and medical staff, allied health professionals and support workers.
The post holder will be required to liaise with a range of staff internally and externally across the Trust and with partner and external organisations

It has world class support services including critical care, imaging, nuclear medicine and pathology.

The NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility UCLH is a well-established Clinical Research Facility covering two sites; a comprehensive Cancer and Medical research facility (incorporating the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre - ECMC) on the Bloomsbury campus (BC) at Tottenham Court Road, and the Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre is a dedicated neuroscience experimental medicine facility at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) at Queen Square (QS).

UCLH was one of eight successful CRFs across London to receive NIHR funding for 2017 to 2022 following a competitive bidding process. The further funding of £6.5 million for UCLH represents an 18 per cent increase from the funding awarded in 2012 to progress high-quality clinical research and to safely and efficiently deliver new treatments to patients to improve their outcomes.

The job description is not intended to be exhaustive and it is likely that duties may be altered from time to time in the light of changing circumstances and after consultation with the post holder. You will be expected to actively participate in annual appraisals and set objectives in conjunction with your manager. Performance will be monitored
against set objectives.
