BET+ is the premium online streaming service offering the best of Black culture; including exclusive original TV shows, hit movies, documentaries, stand-up, and specials, all in one place, commercial-free. Part of the Paramount Global group, BET+ is a joint venture between BET Networks and Tyler Perry Studios.

BET+ is hiring a Data Analyst to support the Analytics team to identify trends and insights.

The candidate will perform tasks such as:

• Analyze how the narrative on Social is driving engagement, retention, acquisition of subscribers.
• Identify key viral moments and analyze the performance of our shows and trends on social.
• Analyzing trends related to content, such as share of viewing, audience reach, and subscriber acquisition trends.
• Review various aspects of content, such as programming schedule, format, to understand how Content is driving acquisition, retention, and engagement for the service.
• Work in big data environments such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses
• Develop compelling insights and learnings via presentation formats such as Powerpoint, Keynote, Excel (Jupyter Notebooks or R Notebooks a plus) and present to stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years as a data analyst or equivalent experience
• Bachelors in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• Intermediate level SQL ability
• Passion and curiosity for data and insights
• Expert communication and presentation skills, with ability to make awesome decks in either Keynote or Powerpoint
• Comfortable with working in Excel and Powerpoint
• Love of Media / Entertainment Industry
