PRACTICE DETAILS

As federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), our focus is offering high-quality healthcare and dental health services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. To help meet our goal of expanding dental care across Tioga County, PA, the Laurel Health Centers are seeking an experienced dentist to join their well-established clinics in Tioga County, PA. Candidates must be committed to furthering our mission of improving our community’s health and well-being by providing first-class care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with an unrestricted PA license to practice general dentistry. Our ideal candidate will be confident and highly skilled in all aspects of general dentistry. They will demonstrate the expert time management skills necessary to thrive in a practice offering complete clinical autonomy. LaurelHealth also prizes excellent communication skills to put patients at ease and create a great experience from beginning to end.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In-depth oral health examinations, preventive care, and procedures (e.g., evaluations, imaging, cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, and more)

• Diagnosing problems and prescribing appropriate treatments (e.g., medication, surgery)

• Educating patients on dental health

• Contributing to a dynamic, collaborative environment by working closely with our other dental staff to create a strong, unified care team, including another general dentist, dental hygienist, dental assistant, and experienced clerical / billing staff

• Further Laurel Health’s mission of expanding comprehensive dental care by providing patient-centered care to all patients, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay
