Driver Training Specialist
Windstar Lines is seeking Driver Training Specialists at or near one of our terminal locations. The Driver Training Specialist will:
- Assist ownership and management with the development of driver training that fosters safe driving actions and a safe driving mentality.
- Develop and deliver training to new and existing motorcoach drivers on safe driving techniques, DOT regulations, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Train and coach drivers that have been identified, through internal company policies and programs, for retraining.
- Provides retraining after accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Works closely with the branch manager to schedule training for new and existing team members.
- Seek feedback from managers and team members about effectiveness of training and implement improvements as needed with cooperation from all training coordinators.
- Travel may be required to help at other locations as needed. (25%)
