The purpose of this role is to define and maintain the standards for transformation management within their area of the organization, providing expert guidance, support and insight and the primary source of delivery information and metrics.

Project Managers contribute to the company's success by planning, executing and managing medium to large enterprise projects using sound judgement, strong interpersonal skills, and effective tools and techniques. Projects typically require both a business and technology focus and may deliver new or enhanced capabilities to multiple functional areas; or may support a larger cross-functional program being managed by a senior project manager or program manager.

Essential Job Functions

  • Elicit, accurately characterize, and document project goals, scope, stakeholders, risks, issues, success measures, effort and resource estimates.
  • Create communication plans and deliver project status updates.
  • Create and maintain project charters, plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Proactively manage projects to deliver them in-scope, on-time and on-budget.
  • Maintain an objective, fact-based perspective on the project's status, risk, and issues.
  • Encourage the project team to display transparency about project status and risk and influence them to proactively recommend solutions for issues.
  • Facilitate and manage project change-control.
  • Monitor the project's progression through its lifecycle and enforce checkpoints and phase gates.
  • Ensures project compliance with IT Policy
  • Co-ordinates integration of various modules and ensures compliance with expected quality standards
  • Ensures optimum utilization of resources and meeting of budgetary targets
  • Highly self-motivated - functions under broad supervision
  • Indirectly leads project team members

Qualifications


REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ Years IT project management experience.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and processes.
  • Familiarity with different types of SDLC/PDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Knowledge of information technology concepts and practices including networking, hardware, and infrastructure.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, escalation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong business and organizational acumen and leadership abilities.
  • Experience producing detailed project plans, schedules and associated project artifacts
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – must be comfortable speaking and writing to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences.
  • Extensive experience in project reporting, including executive level briefing

  • PMP Certification.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Knowledge on Workfront platform
  • Experience working in a remote, virtual or work-from-home environment.

Additional Information


The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$146,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
