What you’ll bring
Creating multi-year financial plans and forecasts that deliver the needs of Tesco Underwriting's internal and external stakeholders. Acting as a trusted partner to senior management across the business, acting as a business partner and providing insight and challenge to drive business performance and achievement of targets.
The Role
- Contributing to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates
- Leading execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations
• Providing specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions. • Conducting research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends
- Developing and/or delivering a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and/or control process
- Supporting the development of annual and longer-term business plans; forecast performance against business key performance indicators; support the development of business cases for key activities/projects; and estimating the financial and human resources required to deliver performance targets
- Monitoring and reviewing performance and behaviours within area of responsibility to identify and resolve non-compliance with the organization's policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct
- Developing and delivering financial guidelines and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice
- Financial Modelling – Translating business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business
• Stakeholder Engagement - Contributing to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
