Qualifications:

· Must be a team player

· Possess excellent communication skills

· Ability to interact with a wide range of people coming from different cultures

· Must possess the ability to communicate with senior citizens in a most gracious way

· Must be able to work in a typical restaurant environment, including the possible requirement of occasional exposure to excessive heat and/or freezer temperatures

· Working knowledge of kitchen equipment operation

· Point of sale register operation is required

· Minimum of one year previous food and beverage service is required

· Position must be held by a people-oriented person, who is able to accommodate customers with tact, respect, courtesy, and politeness

· Ability to lift and balance trays, carry hot foods

· Must be a positive team player, even under stressful situations

Job Responsibilities:

· Greet guests with politeness and courtesy

· Take and deliver orders

· Keep service area and refrigerator clean and organized

· Keep condiment containers (salt, pepper, sugar, and ketchup) permanently filled and clean

· Report problems regarding customers, equipment, or co-workers, to supervisor

· Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times

· Wear and maintain uniforms in aesthetical condition

· Room setup and breakdown

· Completing of side work duties

NOTE: THE EMPLOYEE WILL PERFORM ANY OTHER DUTIES AS NECESSARY AND/OR AS DIRECTED.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires mobility, including but not limited to, extensive standing, moderate walking, bending, twisting, reaching below and above shoulders, hand manipulation, and finger dexterity. One must possess good vision, hearing, and the ability to work safely with hazardous tools, taste the food, as well as work under extreme heat and freezer exposure.
