Position: Freelance Specialized Video Game Writer (Remote)

At Game Rant, we require writers who are driven to succeed, have a way with words, and keep up with what's trending in the gaming world.

Game Rant is looking for a candidate with extensive familiarity and knowledge about a specific video game genre. Whether it’s Destiny, FIFA, World of Warcraft, or Starcraft, the ideal candidate should both play and follow the news surrounding existing and upcoming games within a specific genre. In this role you will be asked to research, pitch, and write news coverage, guides, features, and eventually reviews surrounding games within the genre that you specialize in.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute a minimum of 25 articles per month.
• Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
• Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
• Able to maintain a contracted freelance schedule.

• Ability to source information/news from different websites.
