Job description

Copper Tip Energy Services USA LLC is looking for a self-motivated, well-rounded individual with a positive attitude to take on the role of HSE Coordinator based out of Williston North Dakota for our expanding US locations.

Requirements

  • Technical, practical and leadership experience is HSE
  • 3–5-year experience in health and safety field support
  • Safety Management Systems understanding experience essential
  • Periodic overnight travel

Responsibilities

  • Provide HSE functional guidance to field staff
  • Able to speak with authority and coach on company programs, processes and standards.
  • Coach, influence, motivate and empower others with regards to HSER ownership.
  • Communicate relevant and timely HSER information.
  • Stay abreast of emerging HSE issues and legislation. Keep the respective assets updated with relevant requirements and assist with compliance to HSE legislation.
  • Takes initiative
  • Willing to act, not hesitant of making recommendations.
  • Gain respect and trust and build strong relationships with field operations.
  • Understand and competently apply systems and processes.
  • Be a safety coach to improve work practices of the organization.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, manage change effectively.
  • Able to make decisions under tight timelines and multiple pressures.
  • Searches for understanding and to find new and appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrates learning from both success/failure.
  • Demonstrates clear understanding of various levels of communication (understand the issue, what’s behind the issue)
  • Know when and how to compromise and finds solutions to resistance and setbacks.
  • Willingness to champion ideas, initiatives or position within the organization.
  • Possess strong Health & Safety management system technical knowledge
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Possess a continual improvement approach.
  • Nature of the position requires the ability to influence the thinking and actions of others without exercising direct authority.
