Essential Functions:
1. Review Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) with classroom staff to
identify goals and strategies to support student in the early childhood classroom, in addition to providing
intervention techniques and behavioral strategies.
2. Provide training, mentoring, and coaching in all areas of a developmentally appropriate early childhood
classroom.
3. Complete classroom observations on suspected and identified children to ensure full inclusion. Support
teachers in analyzing and using data collected from Child Plus to inform lesson planning.
4. Assist Inclusion Coordinator with the monitoring of Child Plus data, attendance at ARD, and ECI meetings.
5. Coordinate and implement presentations and workshops, community fairs, seminars, and other events
giving high visibility to the program and its goals. Assist, as necessary, in recruiting and interviewing
teaching staff.
6. Assist in developing procedures and establishing a review process in conjunction with program staff. Use
sound management practices to ensure requirements of program-related contracts and grants are met on
an ongoing basis.
7. During situations of extreme need, assist centers in ensuring adequate staffing ratios in the classroom.
8. Attend all agency, program, and staff meetings and trainings as required.
9. Maintain good relationships with clients and stakeholders (including current and potential clients,
community, and co-workers). Provide culturally sensitive customer service and present a positive image of
the agency in all community and stakeholder interactions.
10. Perform other duties as assigned per the agency’s “team” philosophy.
Education/Training/Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
2. Three years of experience teaching in an early childhood education program, and working with families
preferred.

4. Working knowledge of technology (Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, videotaping, uploading, etc.)
5. Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, speak) desirable.
This position can be 10 months, meaning you do not work June or July and return in August, or year round.
