Irrigation Technician

Bloom Partners has been engaged by a fast-growing Landscape company in the Alpharetta, GA market to recruit and hire an Irrigation Technician to join their team. Irrigation installation experience is highly preferred. The position entails installing completely new irrigation systems and analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing existing systems.

The workload is a combination of small-medium-sized commercial jobs and new residential construction. The ideal candidate must be motivated and be able to motivate others in a fast-paced work environment. This is a hands-on position and potential candidates must be able to run jobs from beginning to end without supervision. Individuals must be able to lead a small crew and be able to work independently.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS include:

• Range of $25/hr - $35/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Install irrigation systems from start to finish without supervision
• Troubleshoot and repair existing systems including 2 wire systems
• Lead a small crew for installing completely new systems
• Design/layout a new irrigation system
• Operate a trencher and mini ex.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of irrigation installation and management experience
• Possess superior organization skills
• Have a strong work ethic
• Be able to move in a fast-paced environment
• Pass a background and drug test
• Must be able to read irrigation plans
• High school diploma with additional technical certifications a plus.
• Basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
