Lead Print Machine Operator needed for fantastic opportunity in Lake In The Hills, Illinois

Pay: Bagger Machine Operator: starting at $19/hour – up to $21

Packaging Printer Operator: starting at $22/hour – up to $24Packaging Lead: starting at $24/hour – up to $26
• 2nd shift and Groups C & D receive a $2.50/hour shift differential we pay time & ½ for the shift differential when working over 40 hours in a week

Packaging Lead

Do you want to work in a hands-on environment where you will work alongside others to make products used in well-known companies? The Packaging Lead is trained in and responsible for managing a minimum team of 5-7 employees. They must be passionate, positive, and productive. The lead must have experience with printing press, wide web press, highly preferred. Tending a high-speed machine that automatically measures, prints, cuts, folds, and glues or seals material, typically paper, to form bags.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to provide leadership, support, and guidance to Packaging Team.

• Operating, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintaining printing press.

• Responsible for overall quality of printed sheets. Selects random sheets from each load and checks that they have appropriate color, register, type and are void of unnecessary markings.

• Must maintain written records of production and quality. Records of color quality are also recorded and graphed.

• Working with Quality Control to ensure good product when needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with machine operating!
• Ability to lift 40lbs and up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must have basic math skills. Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
