Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts (beginning at 4pm, 4:30pm, or 5pm) following a 2-2-3 schedule (Week one: two days on, two days off, three days on. Week two: two days off, two days on, three days off) resulting in built-in overtime pay and having every-other weekend off-work.
Pay Rate: $23.69/hour + $1/hour shift differential in recognition of night shift
Job Activities & Duties
- Operate, monitor, and change all equipment in the production area by following company procedures to assure it is running correctly.
- Perform quality checks on raw ingredients, intermediate and finished products, and packaging materials with documentation.
- Keep work area clean and orderly, perform sanitation audits and develop action plans to correct problem areas.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
- Record production data required for measuring waste, downtime or production efficiency, or other pertinent data as required.
- Maximize the efficiency of the Team and equipment by following production schedules.
- Communicate with team members to stay up to date on important information, processes, issues, and concerns
- Seeks out opportunities to contribute to business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives.
- Participate in special projects/assignments and training.
- Help provide coverage for any Team Member during breaks/absence/vacation.
- Participate in safety training and strictly follow safety policies, rules, and procedures.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills & Abilities:
- Technical skills are preferred but not required
- Ability to learn the operation of a wide range of food processing and packaging equipment
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic computer skills
- Outstanding work ethic

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
