Job description
The antenatal clinic is a busy outpatient clinic for higher risk pregnancies. The role of the maternity assistant is to support the obstetric and maternity team to provide the safest care and best experience to the patients that come through the department.The role includes some maternity assistant led clinics such as pre ops and includes supporting with specialist obstetric clinics such as diabetes and haematology as well as midwife led clinics such as Anti D.
