Job description

Summary: Cuts, trims, bones, ties, and grinds meats to portion and prepares meat/seafood for display by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Cuts, trims, and bones carcass sections or prime cuts to reduce to cooking cuts such as roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grinding meats, grinding meat, or other type meats.

· Cuts and weighs steaks, chops and other meats for individual servings.

· Tends electric grinder to grind meat.

· Shapes and ties roasts.

· Ensures meat and seafood cases are stocked and rotated at all times.

· Estimates requirements and requisitions or orders meat supply.

· Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery.

· Records quantity of meat received and issued to cooks.

· Ensures proper weights and measure compliance.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
