Houston Ear, Allergy and Rhinology Surgical Associates is a startup ENT practice in Spring, TX.

HEAR Surgical Associates is seeking a medical assistant for a full-time position to join our team and assist in daily clinical duties. We offer an excellent compensation package including competitive salary, great benefits, and growth opportunities.

Job Duties:

• Daily clinic and chart preparation.
• Direct patient care – assist providers with examination and treatment of patients and includes taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and documenting in the EMR.
• Assist in clinical procedures.
• Disinfect, clean treatment rooms following patient examinations, including instruments and equipment.
• Pharmacy calls and triage duties.
• Coordination and management of care (imaging, labs, referrals).
• Prior authorizations, insurance verification, and insurance correspondence.
• Charting clinical patient data and other required EMR data.
• Maintaining an efficient clinical workflow.
• Front office duties such as check in, check out, appointment scheduling and answering phones.
• Coordination and management of clinical communication between provider and patients.

The ideal candidate is positive, well organized, self-directed and can handle a fast-paced environment effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills are required.
• Skill and accuracy in typing and spelling is required.
• Organizational skills, multitasking, and clear communication are needed.

Experience and requirements:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN is preferred.
• Experience in a clinical role is required.
• Certified medical assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge in ENT specialty is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
