Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney
Brown & Streza is seeking an associate to work independently as well as collaboratively with a partner, senior associate, fast-paced Mergers & Acquisitions team, and the rest of the Business Department. This position requires the ability to work closely with corporate clients, business unit leaders, business partners, as well as outside advisors and CPAs. The position offers the opportunity to receive regular mentoring, work in a collaborative environment, participate in complex planning and transactions, and frequently interact with business owners and high-net-worth individuals. The firm also has dedicated marketing support staff and provides speaking and writing opportunities for those who desire to develop in those areas. This is an ideal position for attorneys looking to advance to the next level in their careers.

Responsibilities include:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Real estate transactions
- Reviewing, drafting and revising business contract and complex entity formations
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school, a member in good standing of the California Bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Mergers & Acquisitions experience required.
- Experience managing due diligence, data rooms, and preparing disclosure schedules is required.
- Knowledge of corporate matters concerning closely held private companies, including formations, governance, and maintenance.
- Ability to interact comfortably with management; work independently; strong drafting skills; exceptional interpersonal skills; highly team-oriented.
- Commitment to professionalism; flexibility as to schedule for meeting transaction timeline and to the types of projects assigned; and solid business acumen required.
- Ability to manage high pressure, time sensitive and complex business transactions.
- Previous tax experience is a plus.
