Position Title: Miller Mentoring Program Manager
Primary Location: District Wide
Assignment Specifications: Full Time, Year Round; 235 Days Annually
Group Affiliation/Policy: Non-Affiliated
Classification: C-5-1
Exempt Status: Exempt
Responsibilities: Under supervision of administration, this individual is responsible for overseeing the implementation of program goals at the Middle School and High School level. This individual evaluates the needs of the program, allocates resources within budgetary constraints, and makes recommendations for budgetary adjustments. The Program Coordinator assumes a supervisory role for Building Coordinators, mentors, program assistants and volunteers.
Qualifications: Must have experience working with youth, the ability to connect with adolescent students, their families and district staff; must have good written, verbal and technology skills. Strong organizational, supervisory, and management skills. Experience overseeing youth programming is required. Must have a demonstrated ability to work with diverse constituencies in a positive manner and the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
