We are a family owned pharmacy- The Health Hero Pharmacy located within The Unasource Medical Building next to Lifetime Fitness. We are building out a brand new Coffee Beanery Coffee Shop and are looking forward to meeting you!

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Helps to make coffee and sandwiches to order and day-to-day tasks of the brand-new Health Hero Coffee LLC's Coffee Beanery franchise, located within Health Hero Pharmacy.

Monday through Friday operation, 7:00-5pm, closed major holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Operation

• Maintains a clean well-merchandised storefront in line with Coffee Beanery and Health Hero Pharmacy standards.
• Promotes and practices safe work habits according to Oakland County Health Department Standards.
• Identifies and resolves potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies, and team member/customer incidents.
• A significant contributor in the hiring process, responsible for performance review and disciplinary action processes of Coffee Beanery employees.
• Ensure proper team member coverage, scheduling according to the needs of daily and special events.
• Oversees all cash management including POS, front and back of house responsibilities including ordering and maintaining stock, which may require pick up of stock from other retail locations and coordinating with Special Events Manager as needed.
• Participates in community events with Special Event staff to further grow the Coffee Beanery brand.
• Work with Special Events Manager to develop monthly marketing plan.
• Regular communication and collaboration with franchise owners to ensure successful business results and customer experiences.

Service and Product

• Ensure that all Coffee Beanery drink and food recipes and procedures are followed, maintaining the highest quality and consistent product standards.
• Provide ongoing training and ensure that team members are trained in operation, product knowledge and customer service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous retail or coffee shop management experience preferred.
• Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, and special events as needed.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must have effective problem solving/decision making skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and frequently bend/twist from the waist.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must have high school diploma or GED. 1 Year experience with coffee shop management and/or food preparation preferred. Certified Food Management (CFM certification) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
