Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and responsible Operations Assistant to join our team! This person will be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task successfully. The Operations Assistant will assist in ensuring that maximum productivity and accuracy is implemented during order fulfillment from all e-commerce platforms, shipping, dealing with customer issues and resolving them.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have impeccable attention to detail and be tech savvy.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and e-Commerce channels.
• Process e-commerce orders using EDI systems. Troubleshoot EDI transmission errors as required.
• Data entry and inventory control from online sales.
• Review and confirm all new orders for processing.
• Verify accuracy of orders and shipping information.
• Prepare and pack orders while adhering to accuracy and compliance practice established by the company.
• Tech knowledge is necessary to work out technical problems with computer/printer, should it be necessary.
• Experience using UPS World Ship – but not mandatory
• Process damaged merchandise upon return.

Sales assistance duties:

• Creating and filling up new customers forms and contracts and assigning them to the proper sales representaive as to thecompany protocol.
• Ability to navigate and fill in logistics spread sheets
• Help creating and preparing sales presentations with SR VP of sales
• Ability to professionally comunicate and attend online meetings with chain store buyers and company VP of sales to facilitate collecting prodcut information and working on quotes.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Local Logistics experience
• Experience processing orders using EDI systems. Prior experience using TrueCommerce Foundry a plus.
• Advanced computer skills
• Highly detailed oriented
• Time management skills
• Relevant e-commerce experience
• Customer service experience: 1 year
• Orders Processing: 2 years
• Data entry: 1 year
• Experience using UPS World Ship
• Warehouse experience (Preferred)
• Accounting Background (Preferred)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree

Salary/Benefits

• Starting salary $55,000 - $65,000
• Paid time off (2 weeks’ vacation after the 2nd year)
