Length: 13-week contract: Full time 40/hours per week Guaranteed!

Description:
Will work every other weekend
Must be able to perform HUC duties
Medical Surgical department. 23 bed unit with 4 additional Special Care Unit beds. We take medical patients such as general medical (abdominal pain, chronic pain, pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, etc.) and surgical populations (orthopedics-knees, hips, shoulders, appendicitis, etc.). In our SCU, 4 bed unit which is connected to the Med/Surg unit we take all medical and surgical patients that require a higher level of care (IV meds for b/p support, Insulin drips, arrythmia medicine, bipap, etc.)
Work Setting Experience Required: Acute Care Inpatient
General Skills Experience Required: Vitals, Patient Transport, Bathing/Dressing patients, changing bed linens, Feeding patients, Changing bandages, Recording intake/output, Measuring Body Fluids, Assisting with Ambulation
Types of Equipment Experience Required: Bed alarms, Bedpan/Urinal, Bedside Commode, Electronic Vital Sign Equipment, Glucometer, Hoyer Lift, Specialty Beds, Wheelchairs
Epic experience required
BLS required
CPCT/A, NCPCT preferred
Minimum 1 year experience required
Accepts first time travelers
