Production Operatives wanted (Permanent Positions) to join our clients newly established site where design, manufacture, supply and build of structural timbers take place. Your role will involve working in a team to construct both residential and commercial modular buildings using timber.

Various skills will be hired or trained ranging from Operatives to CNC Operators, Carpenters, Saw Operators, Tilers, Insulators Boarding, fitters and more.

The Business:
Our client is the major supplier of structural timber frame solutions for the UK market. They are a division of the leading UK house builder who have established 5 star ratings for their homes for over 10 years now and who promote a diverse and inclusive working culture.

Main role highlights include:

• Using state of the art factory and machinery, excellent working conditions
• Utilising Power Tools. Experience ideal, however full training is provided.
• Reading and working from technical drawings.
• Handling and using tools such as Nail and Staple guns, hand saws and chop saws
• Working safely as part of a team as well as individually, promoting this at all times
• Using your right 1st time attitude and your eye for detail to produce good calibre product.

F urther financial benefits include:

• £13.00 starting hourly rate with further increases based on skills and experience.
• Additional ‘Cost of Living Supplement’ (equivalent to £166.67 per month/£0.96p per hour) * COL payment confirmed until end of June 2023. Annual salary review due 1st July 2023
• Standard 37.5 hours per week with regular opportunities for overtime. Generous overtime rates of Time & Half (£19.50) and Double Time (£26.00).
• Monthly Health and Safety Bonus Scheme (£40 per month).
• Travel Allowance of £6 per day, whilst travelling from Derby to Branston.
