Robert Half currently has a full-time position open for an experienced Senior Accountant with drive and know-how to join a rapidly-growing team in the Torrance, California area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position offers you great long-term potential and a strong compensation and benefits package. What you get to do every day

• Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
• Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
• Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
• Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
• Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
• Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
• Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
• Partake in various department-wide initiatives

• 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
• Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
• Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
• Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
• Knowledge of Compiling Data
• Project Cost experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance
• Adeptness in month end closings
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Project Cost experience preferred
• Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
• SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
• ERP system experience
• Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
