- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, or Public Health.
- Prefer 5 - 7 years of work/education experience in business management, community development, social services, health care or a related field.?
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including the ability to multi-task is required.??
- Must demonstrate critical thinking & problem-solving skills while delivering quality results in the face of multiple competing projects/assignments.?
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Attention to details even under pressure.
- Ability to make effective decisions relating to assigned projects and other responsibilities.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Collaborate with the Chief Administrative Officer to assist with the development and/or implementation of Agency-wide projects.
- Report to the CAO, the overall progress of each department’s projects regularly (as defined by each deadline).
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.?
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Evaluate potential problems and technical difficulties, develop solutions, and communicate any barriers and outcomes.
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed?and stored.
- Serve as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met accordingly (may vary with specific projects and departments)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Under the direction of the CAO, this individual will be responsible for providing oversight of agency-wide projects under the auspices of the Chief Administrative Officer. This position requires the individual the ability to work independently as well as collectively, exercising sound judgment, critical thinking skills and initiative. This position requires an extremely important level of interpersonal and professional skills and experience as this person will be working with all departments of the Agency. To succeed in this role, this individual should have excellent time management and communication skills which requires direct collaboration with internal teams and external customers to deliver results on scheduled deadlines.
