We are hiring a Project Manager to support our team in the Portland area, this is a 6-month contract and is hybrid onsite, may consider 100% remote.
Exciting work you will do:
- Assist the change management team and associated project and change management teams with the coordination of meetings, resources, equipment, and information.
- Organize work to help us complete key activities on time, within budget and with excellence within and across program, project and locations.
- Assist our change managers in organizing our key activities and deliverables, including monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Maintain and monitor plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, including sending follow ups and reminders.
- Organize, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Document and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide administrative support, including meeting scheduling and coordination and purchasing gifts.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Ensure activities adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each activity.
- Identify timeline and resource risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management task for fulfilling each goal and objective.
What you will need:
- 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study preferred.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, as well as Slack and Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight, changing deadlines.
