Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manger to become part of the Reach team delivering an ambitious project. Reporting directly to the Programme and Portfolio Manager, this role will lead and manage strategic project and product related initiatives across the Product department, ensuring initiatives are managed and communicated effectively whilst ensuring alignment to key performance indicators.


This is a fully remote role based within the UK, so we are therefore open to candidates across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

You will be:

  • Planning and implementation of concurrent projects and defining the scope, budget and KPI’s of projects
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines across the product org. Resource planning and allocation
  • Carrying out risk and issues assessment, identifying mitigations. Managing aligned budgets whilst ensuring value of delivery is maximised.
  • Strong stakeholder management, building strong relationships and trust whilst managing expectations appropriately.
  • Supporting Product Managers in the delivery of strategic and tactical initiatives. Reporting regularly to senior stakeholders on project progress.
  • Supporting wider communication of the progress of various product and project initiatives. Tracking performance and measuring value being delivered
  • Procurement best practice practitioner. Expert supplier management skills, gaining best value for Reach whilst building strategic supplier relationships.
The Ideal Candidate

What you'll bring

  • Defining, documenting, and managing the full project life cycle within complex environments; from inception through to implementation and transition to operational support.
  • Organisational, planning, numeracy and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail, and ability to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and making recommendations and decisions with incomplete sets of information
  • Positive approach and attitude. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with all levels of audience
  • Strong teamwork, stakeholder management, coordination, planning and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to think creatively and to apply analytical and problem-solving skills effectively
  • Self-motivated and doesn’t need hands-on management, with the ability to work at pace

Essential

  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high profile projects
  • High level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with Agile development approaches
  • Budget and cost control in a matrix managed environment

Desirable

  • Industry recognised project management qualification(s)
