JOB DESCRIPTION

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Project Planner (Primavera P6) to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis


Role details:

Job title: Project Planner (Primavera P6)

Contract length: 12 months

Location: Derby

Industry: Defence

Hours: 37 hours

Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution


Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the various IMRS technical teams to create and manage P6 schedules in line with the month reporting cycle
  • Support the IMRS CAT and Technical Engineers in the working of P6, providing them training and guidance where needed.
  • Ensure that IMRS P6 plans have a robust planning logic following the PMO schedule health guidelines.
  • Responsible for the detailed day-to-day management of specific P6 projects.
  • Producing project reports and providing information in support of monthly CAM packs.
  • Organise and chair monthly project reviews with IMRS technical teams.
  • Support the existing team in readiness for Bridging & Futures

MY PROFILE

Experience, Skills, Qualifications, & Attributes:

  • Proficient in using P6, and ideally SAP and Coupa.
  • Experience in creating and managing schedule in P6.
  • Experience of delivering projects in accordance with the Project Management processes.
  • Experience of managing several tasks simultaneously, prioritising activities to meet deadlines.
  • Previous SAP and Coupa user experience is desirable
  • Project Engineer experience is desirable


**Security clearance**

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
