You’ll work on projects to deliver the technical development of our innovations to address the BIG SCIENTIFIC CHALLENGES that we have in Consumer Health, to evaluate and create new technology solutions to enhance the delivery of our APIs – making them faster, more effective, longer lasting, or safer, with a view to elevating the self-select standard of care.
You will work with the team to progress cutting-edge science and technology platforms spanning across all our OTC Health categories, either via direct hands-on formulation feasibility or delivering through a network of 3rd party partners.

You’ll succeed because…

You are creative, proactive, and enjoy logic and solving problems. Degree qualified in a relevant Scientific discipline (chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or pharmaceutical sciences), with hands on laboratory skills, you have experience of co-ordinating technical projects and product development, preferably including direct experience of drug delivery technologies. You are able to use your understanding of drug modes of action and delivery, to overcome limitations in order to develop and optimise formulations. Exposure to partnering with external suppliers would be highly desirable.
Your R&D technical background will help you in identifying and scoping new business opportunities and future solutions that are grounded in the consumer needs relevant to our OTC categories. With your wide knowledge or experience in product development, you will quickly adapt to the role and easily integrate within a multifunctional framework; effectively communicating with stakeholders both internally and externally. Independently minded, you’ll be able to deal with ambiguity and your healthy curiosity will ensure you actively seek out additional information to problem solve and troubleshoot on a variety of different drug delivery technology platforms.
