As one of our Reception team, you’ll help bridge the gap between the university and our students and customers, helping us to deliver the university experience, and make sure that our values are placed at the forefront. You would be reporting directly to our Reception Services Manager where in your role as front of house, you’ll carry out your tasks in a professional and effective fashion, whilst also making sure that our staff, students and visitors all experience a great welcome. We want to guarantee a safe and secure environment for all. Effective key control and locking and unlocking procedures are an important part of this role and you’ll liaise with internal maintenance if the need arises.
We want to deliver a high level of customer service, and you should be able to showcase this. Under the guidance of the Reception Services Manager, you’ll be able to manage the busy aspects of the role and be flexible where required. The successful candidate will ideally have the relevant experience working in a diverse customer focused environment. We have a strong reputation for training and development and you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills.

There are 1 vacancy available:
- 1 x 25 Contractual Hours per week, 52 weeks per year + 12.5% shift allowance.
Usual shifts are between 7:30-23:30. You may be required to work late evenings and possibly weekends and be available to work on short notice. However, it will be endeavoured to provide you as much notice as possible.
