Pertemps are now recruiting Class 1 drivers for our client, Royal Mail, in the Gateshead / Newcastle area. This is an ongoing temporary assignment.
Royal Mail is the UK’s designated Universal Postal Service Provider, supporting customers, businesses and communities around the country. The majority of the work is trunking, which involves collections and deliveries of the UK’s mail to depots and mail centres nationally, with available days, lates and nights shifts.
You will need to be an experienced driver with a minimum of 180 days experience within the last 2 years and have held your licence for at least 2 years, with no more than 5 points for minor offences.
Ideally, you will be flexible to work any shifts including weekend working.
