Position/ Job Title: Inside Sales Assistant and Marketing Analyst

Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Annual Salary: $50,000-$60,000
JOB SUMMARY
- This position combines multiple inside sales and marketing responsibilities performed by one person in the company’s Sales department. These responsibilities mainly include:
- Analyze data from multiple sources and prepare reports for executive management and sales. Provide insights to management that are actionable in determining strategies and improving sales and marketing tactics.
- Supervise Ecommerce sales utilizing a broker specialist, ensuring company profit, growth and other strategic objectives. Make recommendations to management on ways to further improve or optimize.
- Oversee Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system, ensuring customer trade spending is correctly budgeted, accurately billed, reported to management and adjusted as necessary.
- In addition to the above primary responsibilities, this position will support the Sales and Marketing Department
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Communicate with Sales and Executive Management to determine priorities in data analysis and reporting that support these departments.
- Seek and determine better ways to gain insights to opportunities, communicating the opportunities to management so they can be capitalized.
- Understand current Ecommerce sales procedures through Amazon Seller Central system. Work to grow and improve the system. Explore other Ecommerce systems or competitive platforms for future expansion or growth.
- Understand Grocery Distributor and Retailer trade promotions. Implement ways to promote more effectively and communicate with inside and outside sales personnel and executive management to share improvements and best practices.
- Exhibit a positive attitude towards work and fellow employees, helping to fulfill our company mission of being a great place to work.
- Perform general customer service and front desk functions including handling customer inquiries and guiding visitors when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is minimum requirement
- College degree in relevant field is preferred
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient in MS Office Suite. MS Dynamics 365 experience preferred. Quickbooks experience also preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and portals to cultivate and analyze data.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Excellent presentation skills using MS PowerPoint.
- Prioritization, time-management and meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, avoidance and correction of errors, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and possess the potential to be a team leader.
- Manages time to efficiently get the most work done during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to adapt to change.
Experience Required:
- Entry-level candidates acceptable with above requirements met.
- Sales or administrative office experience preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of Grocery, Specialty, Natural, or Asian Ethnic Food is highly preferred.
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central platform strongly preferred.
