What we’ll offer

We’re embracing an agile way of working; this Senior Customer Value Manager role is responsible for managing and developing acquisition strategies for our Savings and Deposits products, including leading on the development of trade plans, P&L management and working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure we are driving continuous improvement for customers through our acquisition journeys.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Acquisition in the Spend and Save Value Stream, in your role as a Senior Customer Value Manager we’re looking for you to lead and inspire cross functional teams to drive new business for our Savings and Deposit products considering, pricing, marketing, customer experience and acquisition journeys. You’ll also ensure that backlogs and roadmaps to drive improvements are prioritised accordingly and ensure timely delivery to our customers.


You will have

  • Financial services background with Savings experience
  • Experience in customer acquisition
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in P&L management
  • Ability to lead a team of varying skill sets and experience to deliver against key objectives and projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills


The Role

  • Working closely with stakeholders from across the business to deliver against ongoing trade/balance targets for our Savings and Deposits products
  • Management of BAU product performance including identifying opportunities to ensure our acquisition journeys and approach to acquiring new business is constantly optimised
  • Monitoring of our ongoing liquidity position alongside Treasury and Pricing stakeholders
  • Leading in the development and setting of budgets and long-term trade plans
  • Business case development and prioritisation of channel and trade driving activities to achieve long term plan forecasts and recruit value adding accounts
  • Operate a continuous improvement feedback loop with the Product Development teams to ensure delivery of planned continuous improvement projects and the associated benefits as early as possible
  • Monitor and review product performance and customer behaviours throughout the acquisition funnel to identify and resolve non-compliance with Bank policies and relevant regulatory codes/codes of conduct
  • Manage commercial results by analysing customer and market trends, monitoring financial results and adjusting/optimising planned activity accordingly
