Role Overview:

In the role you will be responsible for a complex case load, which will require you to have significant skill and experience in front line social work. A significant part of the role will be to champion practice development by mentoring, guiding and developing less experienced social workers, and contributing to a highly skilled and effective workforce.

You will work closely with the Principal Social Worker to focus on the quality of practice utilising the latest research, theories and tools to build children and young people’s resilience.

In order to apply for this exciting position, we need you to have:

• A DIPSW or degree level social work.
• Social Work England registration
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development including Practice Educator accredited, or a willingness and ability to complete
• Substantial post qualification experience in statutory childcare services
• Willingness to improve practice of self and others
