You will support our commitment to bringing the best of who we are to deliver perfectly tailored service to each and every Guest. As a Server, you’ll help to provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience in the restaurant, that makes each guest's day better. Have no worries, just fun!
The Server is responsible for:
- Efficiently managing assigned table section including the pace and experience of each Guest following Outback hospitality standards
- Making memorable first and last impressions
- Using food and beverage menu knowledge to share favorites and provide recommendations
- Anticipating needs, processing Guests orders, and taking payment in a hospitable, timely manner
Physical Demands
1. Able to move quickly with urgency.
2. Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 60 lbs. to waist level.
3. Able to move items up to 35 lbs. for distance up to 25 feet.
4. Able to remain standing and active for an 8-12 hour shift.
5. Able to hear, understand and respond to guest need and crew members requests in a loud environment.
6. Able to tolerate exposure to and /or contact with seafood without an allergic reaction or sensitivity.
7. Skill and coordination at using hands to perform kitchen duties.
8. Able to wear vinyl or latex gloves.
9. Able to tolerate exposure to chlorine sanitation solutions.
Position Type
This is a non-exempt position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Work Environment
Work is in a restaurant setting, exposure to extreme temperatures (above 140 degrees / below 40 degrees), various food items, and a loud environment.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid Health Certificate and ABC License
