Vacancy Title: Service Technician (Hydraulics)

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and service a variety of Hydraulic equipment on customer premises and in the workshop
• Carry out equipment assessments
• Provide customers hydraulic solutions and technical advice
• Carry out testing and produce reports utilising company standard documentation
• Ensure all parts are used and correctly booked in the system
• Carry out the examination, repair, testing or maintenance of hydraulic equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and standards including Enerpac
• Be familiar with test and examination techniques for general hydraulic equipment
• Report any failures of equipment in accordance with standards
• Ensure all documentation is completed to the highest standard
• Work in accordance with the local quality control procedures to ensure full traceability
• Work autonomously on site in a safe and professional manner ensuring a high standard of work
• Plan work, prioritising equipment dependant on customer requirements and historic trends
• Liaise on a day-to-day basis with engineering administration and management
• Act as an ambassador for Survitec during any routine audits or customer visits
• React at short notice to the requirements of the business
• Expected, as reasonably practicable, to work throughout all areas and locations of the business as required
• Provide cover and support for internal shortages or high workloads through the business as required

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria

• Familiarity with British/European standards and the requirements of Power & hydraulic regulations including where to locate supporting information
• Experience in maintaining/repairing hydraulic equipment
• Great attention to detail, high standards and a determination to achieve positive results under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Computer skills
• Enerpac experience advantageous
• Health & safety conscious
