We are an independent pharmacy in Chicago looking for a friendly, engaged, and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our energetic team. We are preferably looking for someone with some prior pharmacy experience but are willing to hear from a fresh graduate as to why they would be a good fit in our team.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to multi-task.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to: -

• Carry out all Pharmacists duties under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager in accordance with departmental policies and standards as well as State regulations.
• Review and execute physician’s prescriptions, checking their appropriateness and legality.
• Work with pharmacy technicians and dispense medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of medications.
• Assist the team with inventory management, purchasing and returns.
• Interact with Providers and Doctor’s office staff as and when needed
• Interact with patients in a friendly and courteous manner and help in answering all their questions regarding their prescriptions.
• Carry out general clerical duties from time to time including cash register operation, cash handling, bookkeeping and general

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
