Are you an experienced Castings Straightener seeking to expand your career in the aerospace industry? Do you have a flexible and adaptable approach?

At Doncasters Precision Castings - New England, we have a unique opportunity for a Straightener to join our Second Shift team working within an exclusive casting facility in Groton, CT.

As a Straightener, you will use your experience to inspect and straighten a wide variety of aerospace castings of standard production, new product development and dimensionally distorted castings to close tolerances involving a more critical inter-relation of dimensions.

You will work closely with your team to detect and report defective parts or unusual conditions and ensure fixtures meet with blueprint dimensions.

You will have the opportunity to use your shop math and blue print reading skills through use of gauges, calipers and micrometers.
