If you are someone who loves working with people, if you have experience of working in customer support roles and would like to work more with digital services and technology then working in our Digital Services team at The University of Manchester Library could be the opportunity for you!

The University of Manchester Library is one of only five National Research Libraries and the third largest academic library in the UK. Our vast and rich collections (both print and increasingly digital) help us to deliver a world-class library and information service for the University of Manchester. While our primary objective is to meet the learning, teaching and research needs of University members, we are also fully committed to widening access to our services to individual researchers, local schools and others in the regional community.

Our Digital Support Services team work in a proactive, fast paced customer service based environment, providing digital support to a wide range of people and technology across a number of library sites. As well as working directly with customers and library digital technology, we provide support in-person, through online chat and through other service management systems so a strong customer focus is essential.
