The post of Veteran Co-ordinator will work both strategically and operationally to ensure that this pledge is met and will act as the key driving force behind Doncaster’s Armed Forces and Veteran’s Steering Group, bringing together a range of partners from across Doncaster to ensure Veterans receive equity in access to all services and support.

The successful candidate will promote the active identification and support for Veterans throughout Doncaster, ensuring strong co-ordination and delivery against the Doncaster Armed Forces and Veteran’s Action Plan and production of Quarterly Newsletters and Annual Reports that are presented externally but also internally to senior leadership and cabinet members.

The successful post holder will need to manage the conflicting priorities of both supporting individuals and representing Doncaster at senior and strategic levels.

You will be an integral part of the wider Stronger Communities Wellbeing Team, being involved in the drive towards an Integrated Locality working model, supporting projects and initiatives within this programme, and working collaboratively across all age, people, and place.
