Warehouse Administrator

Salary £22,000 - £27,000

Based in Park Royal

An established company based in Park Royal is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join their busy team. The Logistics Operative will form an integral part of the company's logistics function, ensuring that all in and outbound logistical, inventory control processes and procedures are executed effectively and efficiently. MUST have WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all inbound logistics procedures

  • Receive supplier deliveries and processing purchase order receipts
  • Process customer sales, hire and service orders and returns
  • Report any discrepancies to the line manager
  • Perform physical check and reconciliation of supplier deliveries to packing lists

  • Responsible for all outbound logistic procedures

  • Prepare and ship sales, hire and service orders
  • Perform quality checks to ensure sales orders are picked and packed correctly
  • Liaise with couriers to ensure timely collections and deliveries

  • Assist with inventory management
  • Ensure a safe working area in line with the company's H&S procedures
  • Assist in all areas of the Operations team when required

Skills and Experience required:

  • Working in a warehouse environment is a must
  • General office administrative duties
  • Working knowledge and understanding of sales processes
  • Good standard of education
  • Good literacy and numeric skills
  • Drafting and sending emails
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written and telephone communication skills
  • Keen eye for attention to detail, process driven
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a successful team
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to cope under pressure
