Warehouse Team Lead

Riverside Logistics is looking to hire a Full-Time Warehouse Team Lead to help us with training and leading a team of Warehouse Associates to efficiently and accurately unload, receive, process, maintain, pick and ship customer products and materials. This Team Lead position pays $20/hr but can be more depending on experience. You would also be eligible for some of the best perks around including health, dental, vision, life insurance provided by the company (with the option to purchase more), short and long-term disability, $30 per quarter for clothing needed for work, and a 401K with company match. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE TEAM LEAD

• Working with supervisors and other leaders to receive and process inbound customer shipments and accurately place into warehouse inventory
• Trains, couches, and provides leadership to lower level associates
• Unload, palletize, wrap and put away inbound product
• Ensures the accurate counting and recording of inbound product, and uses packing slip and/or advance ship notification (ASN) to verify quantities, lot number, and item numbers and ensure that the receipt is correct
• Accurately utilizes available warehouse space to locate inbound products and ensure the accurate recording of product put away
• Places major emphasis on accuracy in a detail oriented environment
• Performs bin changes to make maximum use of available space
• Communicates effectively with vendors, customers, supervisors, peers and associates
• Maintains appearance of rack areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Maintains OSHA Material Handling Equipment License
• Operates material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, order selector and stand-up reach lift in a safe manner to store products
• Works in environment where temperature varies with outside temperature
• Lifts on a regular and frequent basis packages weighing 50 pounds
• Maintains excellent attendance to ensure duties are performed
• Maintains all work areas in a neat and orderly manner at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• One to three years of warehouse experience including receiving, order fulfillment and some inventory control preferred
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel & Word)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction in English
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in an unregulated temperature environment
• Ability to lift and or move items weighing up to 50 pounds

WAREHOUSE TEAM LEAD WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time position. Work schedules vary within 8 AM - 6 PM or until work is completed.
