We are looking for someone to join the Logistics Team as a Goods Flow Team Leader.

Expected Starting Date: to be discussed with Hiring Manager

39-hour contract, working 5 days over 7(every second weekend off) you will work alternating shift patterns of
10PM- 6:30AM
01:15AM-10AM.
There is an additional nightshift allowance between the hours of 10pm and 6am of £2.25ph.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, an eagerness to learn and will embrace change with a solution-orientated approach to the many challenges and tasks that present themselves. Previous Leadership experience of around 2 years in a fast paced retail/ Warehouse environment leading a team of 25+ co-workers.

You are able to set expectations for others and provide clear direction, motivate and develop a team. In IKEA we place great emphasis on leading others and ourselves with a positive approach, even during the busiest and most challenging times. You have experience in leading, motivating and developing a team.



WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
  • Planning, organising and monitoring the flow of goods within your area of responsibility in the store, i.e. from goods receiving to sales locations for replenishment so that sufficient stock is available to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Working actively to improve productivity through efficient resource planning, including managing sickness leave, staff allocation, flexible working and efficient goods flow operations.
  • Empowering your team of co-workers by delegating responsibility to help each person grow and develop, according to their individual ability and experience.
