We are looking for a web design / development manager to be responsible for leading a team of designers. The responsibilities of a web development manager include overseeing projects from conception to implementation, designing and developing for the web & print, and providing guidance on technical issues.

To be successful as a web design / development manager, you should be comfortable working within a team, have a keen eye for detail, and have excellent organizational skills. Ultimately, a top-notch manager should have strong leadership qualities, be able to provide guidance, project management and be highly accurate.

Web Development Manager Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing front-end and back-end web products.
• Developing and supporting projects from conception to implementation.
• Working with Graphic Designers.
• Creating user interactions on web pages.
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments.
• Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
• Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
• Directing or performing Website updates.
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
• Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.

Web Development Manager Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience as a web developer.
• Experience in a managerial position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A creative thinker.
• Excellent knowledge of web development disciplines.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Dedicated team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
• High degree of independent judgment.
• Ability to solve complex problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
